JUDICIAL BACKGROUND: Presiding Justice, Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division One, (1980-present). Jurisdiction extends over all appeals and petitions for extraordinary relief from judgments and orders of Superior Courts; Cases include civil, criminal, probate, family law and juvenile. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge (1976-1980), presided over court and jury civil trials, family law and juvenile dependency cases. Los Angeles Municipal Court Judge (1961-1976), assignments included court and jury trials of criminal, civil, traffic and small claims cases.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES/ASSOCIATIONS/AFFILIATIONS: Chair, California Judicial Council Court Management Committee (1978-1984); Member, Los Angeles County Commission on Justice (1974-1978); President, National Association of Women Judges (1981); Member of various associations of lawyers and judges.
